Frequently Asked Question’s

Q. What is a Stewardship Campaign?

A. We are embarking on a deliberate and concerted effort to raise faith and  resources for our Powerhouse building. During this 4 week period we, as individuals and as a Christian Community, will be inspired and challenged to believe God in the realm of finance.

Q. What is the purpose of the I’m Planted in Providence Campaign?

A. Obviously the campaign is to raise finance for our church home. But equally important, it provides us with a wonderful opportunity to hear from God and to act in faith upon God’s will in our lives regarding material things. We grow spiritually, as individuals and as a church body when we apply God’s methods of managing His resources. This building continues to be a reminder of the miracles God works when we act in faith and unity together.

Q. What part does each person play in this Campaign?

A. Each person in our church is asked to diligently seek the Lord regarding their personal commitment, then be obedient to His direction. Our obedience will most likely cause us to change something about our lifestyle. Yet we know that sacrifice and sowing is always rewarded by God.

Q. How does the I’m Planted in Providence Campaign work?

A. Individuals and families within our church will hear God prompt them to make a sacrificial commitment for the next twelve months. This commitment will be over and above their normal giving in tithes and offerings.

Q. Where and when will I complete my Commitment Card?

A. Most people will fill in their card after prayerful consideration, in the privacy of their home. These will be collected during our morning service on Sunday 13th February.

Q. Will I be asked to pledge publicly?

A. No! We believe that contribution is between you and God. All Commitment Cards will be treated with strict confidence. We need the Cards as a record to help us with our planning.

Q. If I fall behind or be unable to meet my commitment, will the church take efforts to make me pay?

A. No! This is a faith pledge and a commitment between you and God. You are being asked to prayerfully consider this matter. Your word should not be taken lightly.

Q. Do you think God will help me to meet a commitment which right now seems beyond my means?

A. Yes! Acting in faith requires us to believe for what is not currently possible. Faith coupled with wisdom and nurtured by earnestly prayer will bring amazing results.

A. $500,000 – To assist with the fit out Powerhouse as a center for excellence within our community.
